Here’s your CFRC Daily news brief for Wednesday, September 16 2020.
There are 2 new active cases of COVID-19 in the Kingston region. 2 females in the 20’s tested positive for the virus and it is unknown whether it is travel related, or through close contact. This brings Kingston active cases numbers to 5. Don’t forget to stay safe folks, wash and sanitize your hands, keep 2m apart, wear a mask when you can’t social distance, and avoid large gatherings. It is up to each and every one of us to keep our local community safe and well protected.
The INVISTA centre located at 1350 Gardiners Road is reopen with new COVID-19 measures in place. Four ice pads are available for use, as well as the fitness centre. Capacity limits, health screenings, increased sanitation and cleaning have all been introduced to ensure the safety of the community and staff. The fitness centre is open Monday through Friday from 6am to 10pm, Saturdays from 7am to 8pm, and Sundays from 8am-8pm.
